i need to buy one for halloween (between this years and next years). i need one of those cool cosplay costumes, but im only 16 and i need to get one cheap (or at a reasonable price). i seriously don't want to wear those cheap plastic/silk like "iron man" costumes. alright please help me out, and please help me out soon.
You can buy a replica helmet for an obnoxious amount of money (like, $300), but otherwise you're out of luck. Cosplay armor is almost always custom-made for the wearer (and usually by the wearer), since it has to be fitted a lot better than regular clothing.
If you're willing to do a lot of work, it's possible to build a relatively cheap vacuformer rig out of a vacuum cleaner and some other parts and fabricate your own armor pieces to wear over red and gold cloth.
